This page explains what SocialStardom collects on socialstardom.net, why we collect it, and how to exercise your rights, including under the EU and UK GDPR. It is written for people sending a business enquiry, not as a wall of legal theatre.

Who we are

SocialStardom is a remote-first marketing and practical AI studio, operated from Pune, India, serving businesses across Europe and worldwide. We are the controller of the personal data you send us through this site. Contact: kunal@socialstardom.net.

What we collect from the forms

The enquiry form and the free analysis form ask for some or all of:

• Your name and business name
• Work email
• Website address (free analysis form)
• Country or city (optional)
• What you want help with
• A short message (optional)

The forms also include a hidden "website" field used only as a spam trap. Humans should leave it empty. If it is filled, we ignore the submission. Our servers log standard technical data (such as IP address and time) when you send a form.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to reply, suggest a starting point and, if we work together, to scope the job. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and keeping our forms free of spam (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not sell enquiry data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build advertising audiences.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not currently set advertising cookies or run third-party marketing tags. The browser may store ordinary technical data needed to load the page. If we add analytics or cookies later, we will ask for consent where the law requires it and update this page first.

Where your data goes

Enquiries arrive by email and are stored in our enquiry log on our hosting provider. Because our team works from India, your data may be accessed from outside the European Economic Area and the UK. Where that applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, and we keep the data we hold to a minimum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept until the conversation is finished, plus a reasonable period in case you come back, or until you ask us to delete them. If we take you on as a client, some details move into the project record we need to do the work and meet our legal duties.

Your rights

You can email kunal@socialstardom.net to ask what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, or to receive a copy. You can also complain to your national data protection authority. We also handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies.

Children

This site is for business owners and managers. We do not seek information from children.
